Short
Description of Unit 5
Metaverse
is the 3D iteration of the Internet that allows the flexible creation of
multiuser immersive environments for synchronous and asynchronous
communication. How can we envision and re-design online learning in the
Metaverse? What immersive media design strategies are effective on the
Metaverse in each domain according to the evidence from literature? How can we
facilitate the construction of virtual communities in the Metaverse?
By the end of this Unit, you will be able to:
- Describe
the structural components of the Metaverse in educational context
- Sketch
learning experiences in the Metaverse with immersive media
